The world-famous Original Eumundi Markets are iconic to the Sunshine Coast and a must-do when visiting the region. Established back in 1979 the markets are held rain, hail or shine every Saturday and Wednesday.
Locals and visitors alike flock to the bi-weekly market to browse stalls filled with handcrafted furniture, homewares, health and beauty, artworks, ceramics, fashion, jewellery, fresh produce and gourmet delights.
No visit to the Eumundi Markets is complete without stopping for a bite to eat, with an amazing selection of international fare on offer. Choose from Turkish pide, gozleme, stir-fries and curries, crepes, slow cooked BBQ, churros, empanadas, potato slinkies, seafood, German sausages … and a whole lot more!
If you’re in need of some ‘me time’ you can also get a massage, aromatherapy and reflexology, have your palm read or even get your haircut amongst the buttress roots of Eumundi’s famous figures.
